Cohort 1 of SPRINTER 2 designed for the manufacturing industry has received great feedback from the market. The programme selected 25 tech ventures from around the world including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, India, and Israel to match with manufacturers with production lines in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Southeast Asia to co-create the most suitable technical solutions for the manufacturing industry.

Pat Chun, a famous manufacturer of brewed oriental sauces and condiments, has cooperated with two tech ventures on the development of robot arms and infrared technology to monitor fermentation tanks.
On the other hand, Musical Electronics, a manufacturer of electronics, toys, and healthcare products, is in the process of adopting a video technology from a tech venture to monitor the operation of the production line to optimise line balancing.
